Killara High School works collaboratively with its six partnership primary schools, Lindfield, Lindfield East, Roseville, Killara, Beaumont Road and Gordon East, to form the Killara Schools Partnership. The KSP provides students with a rich range of experiences, including enrichment workshops, leadership opportunities, performing arts and sport, as well as teacher collaboration and parent information sessions.
Enrichment workshops enable primary school students to work with specialist teachers and use facilities such as science laboratory, visual arts rooms, music studios and technology laboratories. The workshops also encourage students from different schools to work together on critical and creative thinking in Mathematics, HSIE, Creative Writing, Drama, Computing, and History.
Student leadership opportunities include regular video conferences and leadership development workshops at Killara High School.
A Sports Gala Day for all KSP Year 6 students coming to KHS helps to introduce high school and creates opportunities to make new friends.
Teachers across the KSP participate in collaboration and joint professional learning throughout the year.
Finally, KSP parents have access to leading information and advice provided by such outstanding speakers as Dr Michael Carr-Gregg and regularly voice their appreciation of all opportunities that the KSP creates for children to learn about high school and develop their skills.
