Purchasing winter uniforms

All students are required to wear their winter uniforms during terms 2 & 3.  The uniform shop is currently well stocked with all winter items with the exception of the new navy jumper which are currently being produced.  You are welcome to come in to the shop on a Tuesday or Friday morning between 8am and 10.30am, or place an on-line order which can be collected during these hours.
Term 2, Week 1:  we will be open on Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21 and Friday 22 April from 8am to 10.30am.

Recycling Initiative

Did you realize that textiles are the second largest polluter globally?  The P&C have joined an initiative to help combat the amount of non-wearable uniforms that end up in land fill.  We have joined the WORN UP initiative to recycle non-wearable uniform pieces into new furniture, acoustic tiles, pet beds and other products being developed to combat this global waste issue.  So, send through any second hand uniform items to the shop and if we deem that they are not resalable, they will be sent to WORN UP for recycling rather than end up in landfill.

Navy School Jumpers - UPDATE

After trialing several materials, we have approved the manufacture of our navy jumper.  The material is a little tighter in weave and after wearing, washing and machine drying samples, displayed very little peeling. The material is currently being produced, then the jumpers will be made and shipped to the school.  We are expecting delivery in mid-June but will update once we have a firm date.

The Uniform Shop is open for purchases by students on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8.00am to 10.30am (including Recess 1).

You are welcome to continue ordering on-line using Qkr! by MasterCard (see instructions above) and your child can come in and collect. Please also ensure that your child’s year group is up to date within the Qkr! app. This can be managed under profiles.

Alternatively students can purchase uniforms with card or cash.  Fitting of garments will be limited along with the number of students in the shop at any one time due to limited space. Just a reminder that parents are not to come to the uniform shop at present.

The wearing of the designated school uniform by all students and the maintenance of a high standard of dress and grooming are clear expectations of this school community. A student wearing the correct uniform is a reflection of student pride in the school. The designated uniform for students at Killara High School is endorsed by the school community through the Killara High School Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association.
